This is my 18th year teaching mathematics at Redwood High School.  I was born and raised in Iowa.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Iowa.  Upon graduation, I moved to California and began teaching at Redwood High School.  I was married in 2000 to Dan Curtaz and live in Novato.  We have three beautiful daughters, Sophia, 12, and Mia & Zoe, 7.  Most weekends you can find me on the sidelines of the soccer field or in the bleachers watching basketball.  

 

Teaching math was my dream job growing up, there is no career I would rather have.
